Many thanks for your wonderful contribution to last Friday night's fundraiser at Oran Mor. It was a pleasure to meet you and I heard that the music and Ceilidh dancing went down a treat with all the guests. Proceeds on the evening and a match-funded contribution from The Robertson Trust meant we raised £12,510 in total -  a fantastic amount, which will help us bring the joy of live music to more people in Scotland.

Thanks again for your contribution to the evening and I look forward to seeing you again at future MiHC events and concerts sessions.

Just a brief response from my side to let you know, that we have been very lucky with Dave and the lady with the fiddle playing ceilidh music on my 50th birthday in Glen Prosen in April. Dave was so patient with us and we people loved it when he had the idea to progress the dance by moving up to the next partner.

 

Both were amazing and all my friends loved the event and will never forget it. I couldn't be happier and still everything was just a dream! Additionally Dave offered one of my best friends a lift and a bed!!! Uwe needed to be at Edinburgh Airport quite early in the morning on the following day and Dave saved my birthday too by his great hospitality. What to say!!! This is all beyond any of my expectations! 

 

Dave, a few people asked me whether I have known you before. You got so many compliments and your colleague as well. I would like to thank you....have watched a few videos back and we have had so much fun.

 

The ceilidh was the highlight of a great walking day with a weather just amazing. My best ever birthday present was to see people leaving this fascinating country with a happy smile on their faces and a potential amount of energy in their bags.

Everybody went back home to Germany and the NL with a big smile on there faces and incredible memories with the big highlight - the ceilidh! So much fun after such a great outdoors day!
